NEW YORK -- Chicago Bulls general manager John Paxson was fined $15,000 by the NBA on Thursday for verbally abusing referees after a loss to Denver.

Paxson tried to confront the officials after the Nuggets beat the Bulls 97-94 Monday night in Chicago.

The Nuggets attempted 41 foul shots to the Bulls' 12 in the game.

Can you just imagine DW running out onto the floor to confront a ref? Grabbing him by the jersey and getting in his face?

Yeah, sounds just like him.

Nothing will top Mark Cuban running on the floor to break up a fight. Yeah buddy, you're 1/3 the size of those guys .... go get in there. *thumbs up*

Like the spark he brings though. Strange to say about an owner.

Many years ago, after a particularly vexing game against Houston in which fans threw stuff on the floor, and there were 7 technical fouls called in the first quarter, Herb Simon rushed onto the floor at the end of the game and verbally assaulted a referee, perhaps Darrell Garretson.

As I recall, that was on Thanksgiving night. Wasn't that Larry Brown's first year?

I think that's the only time Indiana fans have ever thrown stuff on the court, and I recall that Brownie got on the PA to scold us. After he had been ejected, of course.

Wasn't as egregious as the time Jordan punched Reggie and Reggie and Bo Hill were ejected, but Jordan was allowed to play the rest of the game.

Was it Reg getting Hakeem to go for the ball fake and they called the foul on Reg with a second or two left?

I was young .... I was there .... I threw a drink on the court ....

I can't remember the details, I can just say that I remember it was complete :censored:. The entire game was bull calls .... blah

I remember it was very early in the season, maybe the home opener, and there were rumors they were going to call touch fouls.

I also remember going to work the next day and my boss saying "It's never right to throw stuff on the floor."

And I would respond, "yeah, you're right, but YOU weren't there."

And then he would say, "It's never right to throw stuff on the floor."
And he's still a broken record to this day.

I didn't, but it was the only time I ever wanted to throw something on the floor.

they called offensive on Reggie foir kicking that leg out on a 3 point attempt instead of calling it on Hakeem.
