“Chucky is a veteran player who is in the last year of his contract," said Grunfeld. "He has been a real professional and this will allow him an opportunity to look for a situation that will give him the playing time that he desires."

In 28 games with the Wizards (http://wizards.realgm.com/) this season, Atkins averaged 6.7 points and 2.5 assists in 19.7 minutes per game.</td></tr></tbody> </table>

I wish.

We'd have to release Alex Acker to sign him, and I'm not willing to do that.

So let's buy out Gill and sign him. Eddie would probably take a gift certificate to Red Lobster...

Nothing to buy out. His contract expires at seasons end, so the only difference is he'd be free to do what he wants, sign with another team etc. as opposed to sitting on the bench night after night. He'd probably prefer to be cut.

You know Rick & Chucky have a history and Rick was high on him.IF we wer to include 1 or 2 of our backupPG's in a trade w/Ron. I could see The Pacers having interest.

But Memphis is also a strong possibilty.I would say they are the obvious choice right now.

And another PG would allow Rick to have a starting five consisting of all point guards... :evillaugh

Arroyos better than Chucky at everything but shooting.

except it would only be four point guards because Tinsley is always injured. And I know of three people who would say that AJ, Saras, and Gill are not point guards. (Ragnar, Kegboy, Everyone) So it would be a maybe point guard, three shooting guards, and someone else.
