Damn...forgot about it. Came in late....he's commenting on Croshere right now....he's going over stats again with Croshere starting and how it relates to wins/loses.

Carlisle loves his stats.....

Carlisle = Seth.

Interesting how he tiptoes around the Bender issue.

He also said the Pacers knew they had to get bigger to compete with the better teams. Thus the lineup changes

Damn, that's mean. Seth doesn't deserve that!

Jerome brings up the standard "Should we bring back Artest by the Playoff run?" question then brings up the "Maggette question".

Carlisle then shuts him down...quick...with the "Artest won't play and the I won't comment on any trades" response.

"When something happens...it will happen".

I think he would be more laid back about it if there wasn't some truth to that.

Carlisle's commenting on Foster now....nothing new.....he's getting back into form...blah blah blah......he'll probably start Foster...sooner then later based off of matchups. Foster has done well off the bench....blah blah blah.

Dan...the nervious first time rambling caller....stating the obvious...Tinsley tends to get injured alot.

Unclebuck

The guy who was asking about Tinsley, please just ask the question. Wow that was painful.

What the hell was that last caller talking about?

CableKC
01-12-2006, 07:55 PM
Oh well...yet another Carlisle show with nothing new to learn......we have reached the "gratuitous plug" part of the show.

Quick...someone get in a "why you play AJ so much over Sarunas?" or "Why don't you give Hulk more minutes questions?"

CableKC

OMG.....posters, what a waste of time.
He was suggesting that the Pacers / Colts marketing departments come up with a "Pacer/Colt" poster that Indy fans can bring to either games. As pacerfans said......a complete waste of time. :hmm:

I was waiting for Jr. at school (guess who had the cell phone) anyway I really really wanted to call in and ask him "why the small-ball" and "
why do we worry about matching up so much and why shouldn;t they worry about matching up with us instead".

I was really hoping SOMEBODY would ask him that.

I also wanted to ask if his daughter's intials had anything to do with his college conference.

What's this crap I'm reading about Foster starting soon? That flies in the face of what he just said above about needing the size to compete with the better teams!

He did say situational starter, though. That's better than permanent starter. And Rick sounds like he likes the current lineup.

How many teams use "situational starters" (outside of a situation where the normal starter is injured)?
