With so many saying Danny Granger is their favorite Pacer I thought a poll was in order.

I'm also going to ask if posters went from Reggie as favorite to Granger.

Harrison

A close tie between Dan and Dave with probably the slight edge to Dave cause I enjoy the big-man aspect of basketball more than I do the wing players.

Jeff.

But I like Fred, Saras and Dan quite a bit. J.O. too.

Really I can't help but like all players who wear the Pacers uniform. Even Tinsley and Cro

Alright I'm going on record as a person who doesn't like polls where you can have multiple answers. It skewes the results!

Because of people like me who vote for 3 options

You can have more than one favorite, just like you can love more than one person. For instant, you love your parents . . . er . . . mom and grandparents don't you? :D

magette... =)

hehehe... just joking...

my fav is Granger... the game against the lakers made me a believer... nothing not to like about his game... versatile (rebounds, defend, block shots, steals), plays hard, and more importantly doesnt whine to the refs...

he is what Bender is supposed to be.....

What he said.

I really like the Granger/ JO/ Harrison froncourt.

In fact, with a frontcourt like that, I really don't care who plays guard.

Dan and Dave? That's like those Reebok commercials back in the '92 olympics...

some local company should rehash it and use Granger and Harrison. that would be cool.

I think you just love the initials DD. (grin) Diamond Dave, Dale Davis, Dan, Dave, etc.

Jermaine has been my favorite player since Reggie left, and second favorite to Reggie since he joined in '00. He will be my favorite player on the team until he retires. Reggie was the reason I started watching the NBA, and I always said if he ever left, my favorite team would be wherever he wound up (glad he stayed in Indy). But when the torch got passed to Jermaine, he became the man. Jermaine is going to be the man in Indy until he retires.

What does it say about us that the two most popular players are new this season

I think it says more about the players on the team. Nobody has really liked this team, but as Peck pointed out today, people are starting to like them.

Wait a minute, there were a bunch of you that spent all last spring and summer telling us just how great this team would be when it got Ron back.

There are only a few of us that can claim "we didn't like this team." If "Nobody has really liked this team" then some of you have had a strange way of showing it.

Even I, Mr. "Fifteen new players", like a few of the guys on the team.

I only voted for one of them. Unlike some of you, I can pick "a" favorite.

Will Galen

After 100 votes Danny Granger has 40%. Saras with a big push from his European fans is second with 32%. JO has 19% of the vote. Four Pacers then tie with 12% of the vote, including, Fred Jones, David Harrison, Tinsley, and Foster.

The percentage adds up to more than 100% because I allowed multiple votes since some don't have a clear favorite. Some posters voted for all the Pacers.

As was mentioned above it says something about this Pacer team that the two rookies are the most popular.

Knowing Reggie was a favorite of many fans is the reason I asked Granger fans if they were once Miller fans. Ten percent said yes.

Interesting poll.

Žalgiris released Larry Ayuso last week. Now they are looking for new scorer. I hope Žalgiris' president A.Sabonis could go to the Pacers to get Artest in exchange. Of course, one problem, Sabonis should sign player's contract equal to Artest's which would be much more than all current Žalgiris first and reserves teams players get together.

Žalgiris just released another New Yorker Ed Cota. It seems they are freeing space for someone really big. However, that's just my thoughts. Didn't hear it on any Pasvalio radio.

I am very surprised at the results thus far. I don't get the impression at games that Jake is very well-liked. (Jake, aka Sarunas)
