Remember when we took the Bulls to 7 games in their "last hurrah" in 1998? I'm getting the feeling that, with all the talk of the Lakers dismantling in the offseason, history may repeat itself this year.

Not that I would be pleased with that, mind you. I want to be on the winning side for a change!

:unimpressed:

'98 Pacers = '04 Pacers
'98 Bulls = '04 Lakers

You bastiches. :unimpressed: :P

Sadly, one never has to look much further than our FT shooting to explain how we let this one get away. 14 missed FTs in a five-point game.  Oh, and the guys that missed most of the FTs also allowed Kukoc 21 points on just 11 shots because they didn't want to leave thier rebounding position to step out on the perimiter and guard him and yet we were still outrebounded 22-4 on the offensive glass.

That still hurts.
