Successful Scenario. The Trade ID for this scenario is 2771405.

The Pacers take a chance on either Kwame or young Bynum developing and becoming a force to pair with Jermaine O'Neal on the front line. Devean George is more luxury tax relief and will help at small forward this year. Sasha Vujacic will watch and learn this year along with Bynum.

Pacers play everyone where they will do the most good. Tinsley/Jackson/Granger/O'Neal and Brown. Off the bench come Sarunas/Freddie/Devean George/Croshere/and Pollard or Harrison.

LA does not want to give up Bynum but they reluctantly do as Kobe and Jackson want to win now. Foster and Mihm leave the Lakers adequate at center in a lineup that will feature Bryant, Artest and Odom. Anthony Johnson provides needed veteran help at guard.

The Vujacic and Walker part of the deal can't be done until Jan. 4., but the main part of the trade could be done now.

Lakers don't want to give up Odom, but even if they did, not sure if it's in our best interest to take his contract. A lineup of Odom and O'Neal as bigs may not be good enough to win as both like to play away from the bucket.
