I think the Cavs announcer may even more more annoying than Detroit's
I can't stand that, it so over done...

Lord Helmet
12-23-2005, 09:14 PM
Timeout Indiana.

Cleveland on a 13-2 run.

Besides that, both teams came out strong, it's just the Pacers have stopped hitting, and the Cavs havn't.

We are passing the ball around a lot, also. I always like to see that.

Jermaniac
12-23-2005, 09:16 PM
We are not going to get any calls tonight

If that's not an offensive on Gooden I don't know what is.

Now Sarunas gets a petty call on Hughes running into him.

Evan_The_Dude
12-23-2005, 09:20 PM
Jermaine is a beast

Lord Helmet
12-23-2005, 09:22 PM
Anthony at the point.....

Evan_The_Dude
12-23-2005, 09:23 PM
I'm not seeing much of an offensive rebounding effort from anybody. Tinsley needs to stop doing that same ol kickout to the left side of the court. it's getting a little predictable.

Lord Helmet
12-23-2005, 09:23 PM
Anthony gets the lay in!

Nice movement.

Lord Helmet
12-23-2005, 09:24 PM
Our defense is not doing that great, IMO.

We aren't even pressuring them. And, too many times have the Cavs been wide open.

Timeout: Indiana

Lord Helmet
12-23-2005, 09:28 PM
Jeez, how many shots have we missed in a row.

Timeout: Indiana

(Getting old.)

This doesn't look so good....

Jermaniac
12-23-2005, 09:28 PM
Ohh well maybe next time

Lord Helmet

We are not going to win if JO will be the only scorer :(
That's what I've been thinking.

He's scored what, 12 of the Pacers 16?

First Quarter FG: 7/22.

:suicide:

J_2_Da_IzzO
12-23-2005, 09:34 PM
We might need to put Granger in now to get a little groove going.

SoupIsGood
12-23-2005, 09:35 PM

Lord Helmet
12-23-2005, 09:37 PM

Lord Helmet
12-23-2005, 09:38 PM

Harrison is now on him.

But seems to have the same troubles, if not worse.

Lord Helmet
12-23-2005, 09:39 PM
It is a shame we can't hit much tonight.

The passing has been really good.

J_2_Da_IzzO
12-23-2005, 09:40 PM
Harrison yet again fails to make a good impression on these rare occasions when he comes on. I dont really know why everyone raves on about him so much.

David Harrison needs some heavier shoes so he doesnt jump for every freakin pump fake...he is terrible, ship him out with Ron. No wonder he doesnt play.....

jmoney2584
12-23-2005, 09:47 PM
and the cavs are on fire...makes it kinda hard to win....well, at least we came to the game, mark this one down in the loss column...better luck against dallas

SoupIsGood
12-23-2005, 09:49 PM
I wouldn't mark this down as a loss just yet.

jmoney2584

Lord Helmet
12-23-2005, 09:49 PM

I wouldn't say that is it over yet.

jmoney2584
12-23-2005, 09:50 PM
eh, i've gone dark side on this game so if we lose it's less painful and if we win then i feel better about it.

Jon Theodore
12-23-2005, 09:50 PM
Tinsley screwed this game up for us early, by forcing shots.

obnoxiousmodesty
12-23-2005, 09:51 PM
The Pacers will make a run eventually. It's just that they're going to be so far behind when they finally start hitting some shots that they won't be able to catch up.

I wish someone could make a jump shot.

Lord Helmet
12-23-2005, 09:51 PM
eh, i've gone dark side on this game so if we lose it's less painful and if we win then i feel better about it.

Tinsley screwed this game up for us early, by forcing shots.

Wouldnt blame Tinsley. Noone showed up but Jermaine tonight on both ends of the court.

Lord Helmet
12-23-2005, 09:53 PM
Hey Stephen, pass it to Sarunas.

Come on. Hog the ball for the rest of the shot clock....jeez.

jmoney2584
12-23-2005, 09:54 PM
omg....someone throw some holy water on the cavs bench bc these SOBs are playin like the devil..you gotta sell your soul to hit this BS

jmoney2584
12-23-2005, 09:55 PM
The devil went down to Cleveland he was lookin for a soul to steal, he was in a bind bc he was way behind he was willin to make a deal...

J_2_Da_IzzO
12-23-2005, 09:56 PM
This game is outta reach already. Its a loss. Eventually we might go on a run but eventually LeBron will start hitting jumpers or driving to the basket more regurlarly. We should just keep Granger in rest of game with Oneal and let them gel more and have harrison warm the bench even more.

Jaydawg2270
12-23-2005, 09:58 PM
Ball Movement?

tadscout
12-23-2005, 09:58 PM
Hey if we can get within 10 or so by half we're still in it...

jmoney2584
12-23-2005, 09:58 PM
yea they jumped on us from the start and we won't be able to recover, but i better not see anyone credit this to Rons departure, bc F Ron artest, we just can't hit open shots to save our lives

Miller4ever
12-23-2005, 09:58 PM
marshall is killing us

denyfizle
12-23-2005, 09:58 PM
it's ok Donyell Marshall won't be this lucky all game long

SoupIsGood
12-23-2005, 09:59 PM
I wouldn't say that is it over yet.

Overall we haven't been playing terribly. They are just on fire from outside, and we are sickly cold. I think that could and probably will change eventually.... although we've been known to have entire nights of poor shooting.

J_2_Da_IzzO
12-23-2005, 10:00 PM
I gotta feeling when Donyells luck goes LeBron will just step up.

jmoney2584
12-23-2005, 10:05 PM
bet lebron takes a stutter step three

jmoney2584
12-23-2005, 10:06 PM

12-23-2005, 10:07 PM

Lord Helmet
12-23-2005, 10:08 PM

Yeah.

It is almost, kind of starting.

jmoney2584
12-23-2005, 10:08 PM
psh barely, we'll see how the third goes...we better rally the troops at half time bc i promise lebron will try and get his game going in the second half so we better bring our A++ game, forreal- Money

Miller4ever
12-23-2005, 10:09 PM
we need runi to step up..

jmoney2584
12-23-2005, 10:09 PM
i have to take a halftime shower, maybe if i do it just right the superstition will "wash away" all the bad things associated with this game and we'll pull it out. Anyone know how to make a voodoo doll??

SoupIsGood
12-23-2005, 10:10 PM
Start Pollard at half, Rick (like you should have for the start of the game).

Unless Polly is hurt again or something, there's no reason he shouldn't be playing. Also, give DH another chance. Yeah, I know he struggled, but he played Z and the Cavs really well last time, let's see if he can get that back.

We need a little jack attack in the 2nd half also.

Jon Theodore
12-23-2005, 10:13 PM
pollard is so damn funny

jmoney2584
12-23-2005, 10:13 PM
AHHHHH HAHAHAH Scot pollard is a ****ing clown, i LOVE this guy....i don't wanna trade him just for this reason, he has to be a great lockeroom personality.

jmoney2584

What did polly do? I'm watching the espn feed

Miller4ever
12-23-2005, 10:14 PM
well if fact, we are playing very well.. we only got 5 turnovers
i think foster would do pretty well the rebounding job in the off boards.. he should start at half, we need second chance points

Jon Theodore
12-23-2005, 10:17 PM
I LOVE POLLARDS

J_2_Da_IzzO
12-23-2005, 10:22 PM

very dissapointing loss..

but I think it shows Pacers are a realy strong team. they somehow must find their offense. if all players would perform to their potential this team would be unstoppable. right now Jackson is missing, as is Saras. on the other hand, James was missing as well. I think Saras is playing as he did in Europe. he just isn't a shooter ;)
however, I predict a very strong win for the Pacers after the brake.

have a good Christmass everyone!

UPSIDE, WE HAVE COME BEHIND FROM TEAMS LIKE THE 76ERS AND THE CAVS AND EITHER GOTTEN DOWN TO 2 OR TIED IT UP...SO IT'S GOOD THAT WE'RE ABLE TO DO THAT.

FRED HAD A NICE GAME. OF COURSE JO HAD ONE. NICE BOOM BABY AT THE END THERE HE'S 3-5 SO FAR.

*******. I cannot believe the abuse Jack gets in this forum, its ridiculous. He has a superb game, against the clippers, scors 24 points and has 8 rebounds on excellent shooting, the forum is silent, very few people praise him. Then, he has a bad outing (and he wasn't the only one) and everyone is saying we need to trade him. Drives me nuts.

If Jackson had hit that 3 everyone would be saying how glad they were Jackson was there to hit the big shot, how smart Rick was in having him in the game etc...

SO I think all you Jasikevicus jockstrap riders should eat your words tonight about Jackson

I'll tell you what sucks. We're tied at I think 86, LeBron gets the defensive rebound. Then as he's hitting half-court, I pause the TV to do some work on PD for 5 minutes. I unpause after that, and 3 seconds later I get: "End of Recording". I had told my DVR to record the game, and the time-slot had changed to the Mavs game. Ironically, if I hadn't been recording the whole time, the pause would have worked correctly and I'd have been able to see the rest of this game. I switch to Live TV, and there's 5 seconds left and the clock runs out, we've lost by 5. What a deflating way to see the end of a game. Excitement to disappointment in a split second. :(

To make matters worse, I see I missed Stephen Jackson make an *** out of himself and possibly earn a suspension. Now I can't even see it for myself to make up my own mind.

Lord Helmet
12-23-2005, 11:48 PM

Most players have bad games and some have a few in a row but the difference with Jackson is he will have a bad game and make wrong decisions at decisive moments of games. He knew he wasnt shooting well so dont jack up a tough 3. Then he gets himself suspended for our next game which is against the 2nd best team from west. Thats why everyone gets mad at Jax.

Personally, I would like for Jack to step it up 2 games in a row. We need him hitting shots or at least free throws. The stupidity at the end is what is the worst though. Now he probably won't be available for the Dallas game at least. so not only does he contribute to this loss along with just about everyone else besides J.O., but he puts us in a hole against at least Dallas on one of the hardest back to backs of the season. At least Artest gave more every game for his stupidity.

Nothing is really wrong with his game. He occasionally will keep jacking shots, which is annoying. But, I see that as his only flaw. Game-wise.

The other flaw is his emotions, he sure isn't helping clean up our image when he gets thrown out of a game regardless if he's given a camera the finger or not.

I just wish he'd learn to calm down.

I am a Carlisle fan and I think his lineups **** this year.

Why the small ball against a 7'3" center? WTF was Cro guarding Z for?...or even Foster. That should NEVER happen. I understand the idea that going small will get Z in foul trouble, but I do NOT think that is the best plan to beat the Cavs. We should have Pollard in their to bang with Z and Jermaine and Granger in their to defend the interior. Jermaine and Granger can play help defense and block anything coming near the rim...without having to guard Z. We would have NEVER got in that hole with that plan.

Isn't this obvious?

Cleveland 94, Indiana 89

By TOM WITHERS, AP Sports Writer
December 23, 2005

CLEVELAND (AP) -- LeBron James scored a season-low 14 points, but added nine assists and eight rebounds as the Cleveland Cavaliers won their fifth straight, holding off the Indiana Pacers 94-89 on Friday night.

Drew Gooden added a season-high 21 points and 12 rebounds on a tender ankle and Larry Hughes had 18 points for the Cavs, who blew a 15-point lead in the fourth but made all the big plays down the stretch.

After the Pacers clawed back from a 22-point deficit to tie it at 86, James drove for a layup with 56 seconds left and was fouled by Jermaine O'Neal. He missed the free throw, but Cavs guard Eric Snow leaned in and drew an offensive foul on Jamaal Tinsley as the Pacers guard pushed the ball up the floor.

Hughes then dropped a short jumper to make it 90-86, and after Stephen Jackson missed a 3-pointer for Indiana, the Cavaliers made four free throws, including a technical when Jackson was ejected with 10.8 seconds left to ice it.

O'Neal scored a season-high 34 points with 11 rebounds and five blocks. Fred Jones had 15 points for the Pacers, who were just 4-of-19 on 3-pointers.

Indiana fell to 3-2 since forward Ron Artest said he wanted to be traded.

Donyell Marshall added 17 points and Zydrunas Ilgauskas 15 for Cleveland, which improved to 11-3 at home, and at 16-9, have the Eastern Conference's second-best record.

Trailing 76-61 at the start of the fourth quarter, the Pacers chipped away by forcing the ball down low. After Ilgauskas picked up his fifth personal and had to sit with 5:41 left, the Pacers scored seven straight points, pulling within 84-82 on Tinsley's 3-pointer with 2:58 remaining.

Ilgauskas returned and missed his first shot, and O'Neal's 14-foot jumper tied it 84-all with 2:16 to go.

James came in averaging nearly 36 points in 10 December games, but he didn't reach double digits until he made a steal and a reverse breakaway dunk to put the Cavaliers ahead 79-68 in the fourth.

For a change, James didn't have to carry the scoring load and didn't force many shots. The Cavaliers improved to 15-3 when James, whose previous season low was 16, tries under 25 shots.

With Artest elsewhere, Pacers coach Rick Carlisle assigned Jackson to James. It was a mismatch early on as James got his teammates involved by either blowing past Jackson or setting up the Cavaliers with crisp passes.

The Cavs were already ahead by 10 when James scored his first points, driving the lane for a thunderous dunk that Marshall followed with a 3-pointer to give Cleveland a 15-point lead.

James sat for a more than five minutes in the second quarter, but the Cavs extended their lead to 19 while their star rested. When he came back, James fed Marshall for the Cavs fourth 3-pointer of the period to make it 51-29.

However, the Pacers closed the half with an 11-1 spurt to get within 52-40 at the break.

Notes

Ilgauskas, shooting .886 (109-of-123) from the free throw line, is on pace to have the highest free-throw percentage for a player 7-feet or taller. Joe Kleine made .882 percent of his free throws in 1988-89. ... With three games in four nights, James has some last-minute Christmas shopping to do on Saturday. "I'm nowhere near done," he said, "been playing too much." ... Jones, who has made two or more 3-pointers in 18 of 25 games, leads the league with 4.4 3-pointers made per 48 minutes. ... Tinsley didn't practice Thursday and was questionable until game time after suffering whiplash when he collided with Clippers center Chris Kaman on Wednesday.
