I work for Clarian Health and there is this young boy here (7) that has Leukemia. He had a bone marrow and was doing really well. He is now very, very sick and it doesn't look good.

I also go to Church with his grandparents which makes this even more personal, especially this time of year.

I'm not trying to bum anyone out, I just hope that those who do pray will please do so.

His name is Maliki.

What doctor does he see there if I may ask?
I presume you work in the Riley outpatient clinic?

My thoughts are with him.

That's sad, my best friend died 5 years ago at the age of 14 from Leukemia, its a terrible battle for someone that young to have to fight.

To be honest I have no idea. Actually I'm at Methodist. I will find out though.

If memory serves me right, that's on the forth or fifth floor. I probably don't know the heme/onc doctors at Methodist just because I wasn't exposed to them as much as the docs at Riley. I love the playground there in the lobby up there.

My prayers.

For some reason I thought you worked for Lilly's....

Either way I will think positive thoughts for young Maliki
