So this over on RealGM - http://realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?t=450635 - and thought it could be interesting to post here.

Basically they're holding a contest between all of their members about where Artest will end up. And to make it a little more detailed and with more variety on the guesses, instead of just posting which team you think Ron will end up on, you post the entire trade you think will go down.

Anyone up for doing this here at PD?

3-way my friend. And I don't mean the type of 3-way I had with my girlfriend and her best friend when I was 18. I'm talking a 3-way that lands us Al & Miami's 1st, lands the Hawks Kwame Brown & the Lakers 1st (possibly lotto), and lands the Lakers Mr. Ron Artest.

As long as Ron keeps his mouth shut the rest of the time I think he will end up in either Toronto or Atlanta.

If we don't get rid of Ron quick and he keeps opening his mouth we will have to trade him to anyone that will take him for a decomposing sphincter and an eyelash.

Maybe they should start a new team.

The Las Vegas Knuckleheads

Put all the wacko players on 1 team so they don't screw up the other 30 teams.

Stern can compensate us by getting a Knuckleheads #1 draft pick.

We would only draft a knucklehead or trade it for a knucklehead with backup experience on a Championship team.

If we're gonna be serious.....then I predict a trade with either Denver or Houston.

If not....then Artest will remain with the Pacers and be traded after this season.

R.Artest + E.Gill for two Lithuanian Euroleague teams Kaunas Zalgiris and Vilnius Lietuvos Rytas (Saras' first professional club). Salaries match.

Both teams are co-leaders at their Euroleague groups, Artest could choose for which contender to play. He better chose Vilnius club, because Kaunas Zalgiris has basketball school and solid reserves team, they would fill team roster immediately. At Vilnius club Artest could play one against five in every Euroleague, BBL and LKL game. He could take 50-55 shots per game.

Indiana would get the longest reserves squad in the NBA.

Zalgiris would give three NBA calibre players (Tanoka Beard, Darjus Lavrinovic, Paulius Jankunas). Tanoka was kind of a psyche similar to Ron in he past, now he's OK.

Lietuvos Rytas would give Robertas Javtokas, the highest dunk World recorder. He could participate in NBA all-star weekend dunk contest.

Other 20 players could form two NBDL teams.

Pacers also would get more international fans.
Larry Ayuso from Kaunas Zalgiris is Puerto Rico's National Team leader, Vilnius Rytas player Roberts Stelamahers is from Latvia, Matthew Nielsen from Australia, Haris Mujezinovic - from Bosnia.
