I really think it's going to end up being a 3 team trade. I would think Donnie would have gotten a deal done by now if it was with one team. I've always thought DW is one of the best deal makers in the league. His drafts have been so so, but man can he wheel and deal.

I've been poking around and trying to figure out what team would best fit our needs and would require players that we can deal away.

I would like to figure out a way to involve Denver...since they need a SG and have players like Watson that I would like to get back....but its hard to find a 3rd team that wouldn't want Artest but would want to be involved.

I really like this trade and think it is pretty reasonable. There might have to be some picks traded.

Successful Scenario
Due to Indiana and New Jersey being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Indiana and New Jersey had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

I like the trade but I doubt that Atlanta would want Jax back, it might work better if Atlanta got Artest for Al and we tried to send Jax, Pollard, and somebody else for Vince.

New York? I've been trying to work on a plausible 3 or 4 team trade on real GM but I can't get a 3 or 4 teamer to work?? NYK has been said to be looking to move Jerome James, QRich and/or Jamal Crawford...

Atlanta always seems to get involved in these mega-deals, too. They might be willing to trade to get something rather than nothing from Al. They need a PG, bigs, and to reduce their glut of SFs.

The only thing we can do is look for a 3rd team that would want a 3pt shooting SG in QRich and JCraw.

Jerome James is crap.....the Knicks are the only team that would be stupid enough to pay him that much. Also.....the only way that the Knicks deal with us ( in any way shape or form ) is if they get Artest...and I don't want Artest going to the Knicks.

About Baby Al.....the Hawks will move him before the trade deadline...probably to the Bulls or even the Knicks...without the need to deal wtih the Pacers.
