Successful Scenario
Due to Indiana and Minnesota being over the cap, the 25% trade rule is invoked. Indiana and Minnesota had to be no more than 125% plus $100,000 of the salary given out for the trade to be accepted, which did happen here. This trade satisfies the provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

This trade was in response to the ESPN Page 2 article.

These goofy trade proposals for Hall-of-Fame caliber players aren't really funny or interesting anymore.

Garnett and O'Neal on the same team? Who is going to play center and who is going to play PF? This sounds as silly as putting LeBron and Kobe on the same team or LeBron and Wade or for that matter Kobe and Wade.

C - Hulk/Polly
PF - JO/Walker
SF - KG/Granger
SG - Jack/Freddie
PG - Tins/Runi/Gill

Or JO at the 5, KG at the 4.

JO is our center anyway, regardless were he is officially listed.

Ever heard of David Robinson and Tim Duncan? Hakeem and Ralph Sampson?

Twin towers is not a new concept. Houston went to the finals doing it. Spurs won a tltle doing it.

Pretty silly, huh?

PF - JO/Walker
SF - KG/Granger

Or JO at the 5, KG at the 4.

The first is how I would play it... KG definitely has the skill-set to play the 3, plus he becomes even more of a match-up problem.

The second one is how I think RC would play it. Don't get me wrong, it would work, but how would you defend the first option?

***
My perfect 'type' of line-up with JO and KG on the same team...

C - Someone who could lurk on the outside for treys; weak-side rebounder
PF - JO, planted in the paint (attack the basket - don't shoot the 15 footer!)
SF - KG, up in the high post, distributing and driving
SG - Someone who with quick feet and could match up against quicker SFs
PG - Distributer, three-point threat

This would definitely be a tough team to guard.

We have some of the pieces... Saras could definitely be the PG... If Foster had Croshere's shooting touch he could be the C. I'm not sure if Jax would fill the SG well in this lineup or not?

This is a more serious proposal...

JO and Artest

for

KG and Hassell

Works on RealGM... Perhaps if we add picks too?

At this point JO is playing like KG without the passing, so why
do it.
