Watch the box scores tonight.

If a "healthy", rotation player gets a DNP-CD it could mean he is out the door.

I can't help but notice that right until Ron opened his mouth, Tinsley was expected to play tonight. I know they now say Friday, but it sure looked like tonight until Ron spoke.

I still thought he was supposed to be back tonight. Where did you hear it will be Friday instead?

I read the same thing somewhere. it was a quote from Tinsley iether in Wells article or maybe Brunner. I was surprised to read he's coming back Friday. In fact I think Brunner had it in his Q of the day.

Pacers' new starting lineup
Anthony Johnson
S. Jasikevicius
Stephen Jackson
Jermaine O'Neal
Jeff Foster

Today's game
Who: Pacers (12-7) at Celtics (8-12).
When: 7:30 p.m.
TV: WTTV-4.
Radio: WIBC-1070 AM.

PLAYERS TO WATCH
Pacers -- Danny Granger likely won't be a starter for some time, but the rookie's role has become even more important now that Ron Artest's days with the team appear to be numbered. It's been an up-and-down season for Granger. He had a promising preseason but hasn't played much. He is back in the rotation, however, averaging 26 minutes in the past three games.
Celtics -- Paul Pierce is one of the premier players in the league. Though he is the team's leading scorer, Pierce doesn't lead the Celtics in shot attempts. That honor belongs to Ricky Davis. Pierce is on pace to average a career high in points. He's sixth in the league in scoring and he has a knack for getting to the free throw line, where he's third in the league in attempts and makes.

SERIES TREND
The Pacers and Celtics have met in the playoffs the past three years. This is their first meeting this season. Just like in the playoff series last year, the Pacers will be without Artest. Winning on Boston's home court hasn't been a problem. The Pacers won three of their four games on Boston's home court in the playoffs. Celtics coach Doc Rivers has said Jamaal Tinsley was the key last year. He's not expected to play tonight.

INJURY UPDATE
Tinsley (groin) said he'll be back in the lineup Friday and forward Austin Croshere (back) said he's questionable tonight.

Well, when it reaches all the way down to your groin, I guess its pretty bad. :shudder:

Guh, we're getting close to the post-brawl roster in terms of eligible players. If Rick continues to bench Hulk, that leaves us with...10 players able to suit up tonight (and that includes Samaki and Gill).

There are a ton of games tonight. If someone sets that should be playing....... ya never know.

Treatment for sinusitis is antibiotics for 7-14 days... MAX. If it truly is sinusitis, it responds well in the first week.

Well, using that theory, which is interesting, we have Shane Battier/Jake Tsakalidis from the Grizz. Both are healthy. And the salaries match up from RealGM.

From the Knicks David Lee and Jerome James didn't play and their salaries match up on RealGM.

From New Orleans Arvydas Macijauskas and Chris Anderson didn't play tonite and salaries match up.

Now, using that theory and given what the respective organizations have said in the media, I can see the Lee, James scenario. Whadda you guys think? Would you be agreeable to that?

Battier has a sprained finger. But the Battier deal is the only one of those three I would consider.

Btw, BJax didn't play either...

As far as the Knicks go.... I read that Brown has settled on a rotation & that Lee & James are not currently part of his plans.

In New Orleans....... Macijauskas seldom plays so no biggie there & Andersen has been out for a couple games with an injury.
