I wonder how the TWolves will react at the end of the game (assuming they win) for finally getting out of the first round?

Odds are the people will burn coaches and smash cars and celebrate in the streets for hours.

Camby's a moron. Nothing like trash-talking the opposing team's bench when you're down by 22.

 Sprewell just stuck his tongue out at Camby while jogging down the floor.

Wolves in 6. Defense wins titles, and Kings have never heard of it.

Melo has some nice glasses there. Don't care for the logos on the side though.

Wolves finally advance.

Make of it what you will, but the Nuggets outscored the T'wolves 85-75 from the field; but KG and Co. hit 27 of 36 free throws, while the Nuggets hit 6 of 10. Getting outscored 27 to 6 at the line, well, it kind of smells.

Now mind you, I don't for a minute believe that the Nuggets could have won this series, especially with Melo having the knee strain, but that kind of free-throw disparity is really hard to understand. I know that the more aggressive team typically gets to the line more, but I watched the game, and it didn't look like the Wolves played three-and-half times more aggressively than the Nugs. Just kind of frustrating.

Yeah, stuff like that really honks me off. Sure, when the Spurs are playing Chicago, then I guess you can make a case that SA should shoot 20+ more FT's. But when you get in the playoffs, teams are more evenly matched, moreso the further you go. It doesn't make any sense. Just thinking about Game 6 of the '99 ECF (Dick Bavetta ref'd, btw), where the FTA disparity was 36-13 in NY's favor, IIRC, makes me :puke: .

The officiating was well in Minnesota's favor -- no doubt about that. As I said earlier, Steve Javie is a joke as an official. He should be tossed from the league or, at the very least, not be allowed to officiate playoff games.
