Several posters mentioned that JJ might be needed for Artest insurance.

Do you feel that way now? Could we use JJ? Or will Jax and Granger suffice?

No it doesn't. Players like JJ are a dime a dozen

Second round picks that can start on a championship contending team in their third year are not a dime a dozen.

Granger was our insurance, not JJ. Count how many SF's were on the team at the time we drafted him and you'd see that.

JJ's shooting would have been a nice compliment to Danny. But its water under the bridge now, I'm not gonna dwell on it.

No. He' be a nice backup, but no big loss.

No JJ is a one trick pony , his only real value is standing behind the 3 point line to heave 3's. Nice guy but no big loss

There was no way we could have afforded to keep him.

He isn't starting for the Suns, He's only started 7 of 19 games and that is only because Amare is out

Some of you guys have a wacky sense of player evaluation.

Even with Ron gone, where would JJ get minutes?

Nowhere.

Its almost as relevant to ask if Kenny Anderson is missed during our current PG controversy.
