A drive home that usually takes me about 20 minutes took about 2 hours. I may be taking the day off of work tomorrow.

Me too, pacercoltfan. 20 minute drive from downtown just took me an hour and forty-five minutes. There's already a good 4-6 inches down and its supposed to go on till midnight. I think the weatherdudes underestimated.....

I would like to know there are 6 hour delays...so maybe theyll invent that today...I hate snow days cuz that takes out of our other "no school for random reasons" day

Oh well, I need an early weekend.

We only have like 4 of those days anyway, it's so stupid that they will make us go on those days if we have a snow day.

WOW, we missed one day!! OH NO! Now we can't learn!

Yeah all I have so far is a delay.

I'm thinking one reason they won't cancel is because of the bball game.

Screw that.

I'm not going, either way.

Yesterday, it took my wife 5 hours to go from downtown Indy to Greenwood. Dowtown was an absolute gridlock.

I work over by the airport. What should have been a 20 minute trip for me, was in actuality, 2.5 hours.

Last night it took me over two hours to get home, when it normally takes about 45 minutes (I take the bus).

Today, I'm back here at work. ****ing university. They never ****ing close. What's the point of being here? Most kids won't go to class, ergo many professors won't show up, so my work (as a secretary) is pretty much pointless. Bah.

Back to web browsing for the next 6.3 hours. Wheeee!

Yeah, it's cushy, but it begins to wear on me after a while. I need either my mind or my body to be active most of the time or I start to go bonkers. And I just don't find the Internet to be all that stimulating after a few hours (especially when I'm on for a few hours every day, day after day).

Here in Mass. we're getting this horrible mix of snow, slush, and rain. The roads absolutely suck.

Last night's rushhour drive time on the Ike (for those of you that know these things):

124 Minutes to Harlem. Yes, 8.76 miles was taking two hours and four minutes.
205 (!!) Minutes to Route 83 (pretty close to my house)
260 (!!) Minutes to Woodfield

Thanks God for Metra. I was home in my usual 55 minutes after leaving the office.

For Christmas I want a monster, monster, monster, snow storm, I mean more than 16 inches, starting about about 07:00 PM Christmas eve and going through the night and not stopping untill after sun rise. That way the roads shouldn't have any holliday shopping traffic on them and I can spend all of Christmas day clearing snow.
