what happened?

zxc

Bobby Jackson gets three free throws. Questionable at best. Looks like OT if he makes em.

Misses the first, ouch.

Shade

Holy mother of God. The Kings get three free throws to tie it. :shakehead:

zxc

Blazers just imploding now. Rasheed Wallace fouls out then gets a tech on the way out. Oh well.

Cactus Jax
01-21-2004, 01:40 AM
Didn't think I'd do a Blazers/Kings game thread. Tie game, and Brad just fouled out.

Shade
01-21-2004, 01:41 AM
Does any team choke as much, and as thoroughly, as the Blazers?

Can't even hold a 9-point lead with less than a minute to go. :unimpressed:

Cactus Jax
01-21-2004, 01:43 AM
Bibby hits two foul shots. 101-99 Kings with 3:16 left.

zxc
01-21-2004, 01:44 AM
Figures. Where are the Blazers that came back from 5 down in the last 20 seconds vs us. :(

Cactus Jax

Anderson 3, and Portland's got a 1 point lead. But Damon fouls Bibby. :unimpressed:

Shade
01-21-2004, 01:47 AM
Anderson for 3!!!

Blazers retake the lead, 102-101. 2:15 to go.

Cactus Jax

Anderson's on fire right now, Portland by two now.

Why do you think Sacto wins so many games? They're all at home. :unimpressed:

Cactus Jax

Tie game now.

Anderson gets fouled, 2 shots for Portland.

zxc
01-21-2004, 01:49 AM
Heh.. Portland running the exact same play every single time on offense it seems. Damon dribbles it up, Davis comes out to the three point line to get ball, struggle to hand it off to Anderson and hope he does something with it.

Cactus Jax
01-21-2004, 01:50 AM
105-104 Portland as he made 1 of 2. Anderson steals and gets fouled again.

107-104 Portland now.

Shade
01-21-2004, 01:51 AM
Tied at 104. 1:09 to go.

zxc

blazers suck...how can they blow this game TWICE???

zxc
01-21-2004, 01:53 AM
Anderson just hit a jumper with a guy right in his face from top of the key to put em up 5 with 17 seconds left.

Cactus Jax
01-21-2004, 01:53 AM
Divac misses, and Anderson scores AGAIN. Anderson > GOD

Nah.. DA would be nice to have, but he is too much of an injury concern these days.

Yeah I think a Flip Murray, and Jerome James, or Calvin Booth combo would be better.
