Today at 6PM Indianapolis time I will change the draft clock to whatever time you select.

Here are your options

3 minutes

5 minutes

10 minutes

15 minutes

30 minutes

1 hour

2 hours

6 hours

12 hours

24 hours

I say 2 hours. Anything less than that is actually enough for someone to miss a pick w/out knowing.

The options above that seem to be too long, probably 4 hours would be the ideal option but that's not around.

Anything between 1 and 6 hours seems ideal. Gives people to check in regularly without missing more than one pick at most, normally. The exception offcourse beying if you would have to pick twice in short order.

In the end voted for 6 as a compromise to people who can't be online VERY regularly.

My personal preference is 12 hours, mainly because of work. I do log onto the site from work but I try not to do any in-depth stuff from there such as evaluate trades which I tend to worry over, crunch numbers, track the players over recent games, etc.

I could make an exception for this because I can do most of the actual work from home and just enter players into my CL but I'll be away from a computer for around 10 hours Monday & Tuesday - between about 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day. If I'm still in "best available player" mode that doesn't matter. If I'm balancing my lineup, it does.

That said, I'll go along with what everyone else wants. It's not that big of an issue.

I voted for 30 minutes in part because I would like to get as much done on the draft tonight that I can.

Tomorrow morning I will e-mail James my list and may need him to fill in due to potential power/phone outages from Hurricane Wilma. I'll be home and if the phone lines are up and running I'll keep my contingency list full.

After Tueday my family and the moving truck arrives and my access may be infrequent.

I encourage everyone to access the full 30-man contingency list and use it as much as you can. Sure it sometimes results in a less-than-ideal mix of position players, but it also prevents you from "stretching" to fill a positional need. Making trades can balance your roster if you have extra players that are in demand.

Keep it the way it is for another couple of days.

I voted for 6, but would like to change it to 12.

I see no reason to make drastic changes...

If the draft clock is reduced too much at this point I would miss several draft choices after the 6PM change.

I cannot access the draft from work as much as I would like to...

I believe, in theory, the 24 draft clock is a good thing. If there is a chance for those participating in the draft to be more active and keep things moving then that would be super for all involved.

With my refereeing football, shuttling kids to football games, conducting basketball practice, etc. I need all the time and help I can get.

James, thanks for this option.

Mike
