Question for Sarunas Jasikevicius | Oct. 17, 2005

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Q. Everyone in Lithuania, Israel and in all Europe is wondering how you are doing in the preseason. What is the biggest different between Europe and America? (From Laurynas in Vilnius, Lithuania)

A. So far, it's the speed everything is happening and the size and length of the guys. I need to get adjusted to that and only by working with them every day, working against them for a couple hours a day, I will be able to adjust. Basketball-wise, it's just basketball. We run similar stuff. But the size and speed is different.

That's an expected, good, boring answer.

I do like the "work hard and improve" attitude I hear between the banal, PC lines.

Both Granger and Jasikevicius have said getting used to the speed of the game and the size of the players is the big thing. However as has been proved in the Olympics, teamwork has proven to trump speed and size.
