Lakers coach Phil Jackson told the Orange County Register on Monday that Smush Parker, not Aaron McKie is solidifying his hold on the starting backcourt spot opposite Kobe Bryant. "We expect that teams will take Lamar off the ball and make Smush be the ball carrier," Jackson told the Register

Maybe Los Angeles can enligthen me on this? Smush Parker ? I guess as long as he knows just to get it Kobe right ?

he went undrafted i believe and was picked up by the cleveland cavaliers, had a nice little stint with them which gave him somewhat of a name, idk when he left or how he ended up in los angeles tho.

He was with the Pistons for a while before returning to one of the dev leagues. What little I saw of him he seemed ok...

Very good I always liked Smush Parker. I'm happy for him.

IIRC, Smush played for Bo Hill at Fordham.
