With just less than two weeks before the start of our draft I would like to make sure everyone has their player list, if not finsihed, at least started?

I'm not so much concerned about our returning owners but I'd like to hear from you as well, just to be sure. If you're new to the league this year I'd like to know if you have an ordered list that you will be using to make your picks from. I really don't need to know any details as long as you have a plan thats good enough for me. There will be 288 players drafted so plan accordingly.

If you are a rookie to the ABA this year & do not have a player list started, let me know ASAP. I have a very detailed list that I'm willing to share with the rookies.

I know the draft will not be nearly as rushed as before but I would like everyone as prepared as possible when the 21st rolls around.

I'm always ready. I'll challenge anyone for most active owner!

Ya know I think you might be on the site more than me. Everytime I log on to see if anyone has posted anything, you're there.

I think I'm just winging it this year. Two years ago I did that and won over 40 - last year I studied and didn't even make the playoffs (Thanks to all those lies from the Pacers).

Research? We don' need no stinkin' research!

I would be happy to see that list. I have sort of an informal list ready, but would love to see the research you have put together Jose.

If you want to email it, please send to gregroberts@carolina.rr.com.

Thanks!

p.s. I only voted you're an idiot because its an option:D

I only made it an option because I knew you'd vote for it. :-p

Not yet. Things are going to go right down to the wire this year, especially with vacation.

I'll probably do what I did last year, which is project every single player and rank them accordingly.

Then completely ignore that information during the draft.

I made some basic notes weeks ago, but I'm mostly going to wing it unless I find a perfect time to do some research.

That's been my plan, rank them all from KG through Potopenko, then try to follow the list.

Invariably I run errands on draft day and lose track of who has been taken on my list and pitch the whole idea by round 5.

I have ranked the returning guys and have to decide where to slot the rookies. But Potopneko isn't the lowest guy anymore, since he may even become a starter.

I'll get to it this week. School/work is killing me right now. :(

I'm relying on my special fantasy league draft Ouiji board again this season since it worked so well in last year's draft... :crystalba ;)

I'm ready.

I have a semi-list, but I always go by my instincts on draft day.

I'm so not ready it's not even funny.

I did zero stuff this week and probably won't have any time until next Friday night.

Oh well, that's the way it goes.

I thought I was gonna work on it this weekend.

Georgeous, sunny days forecasted - have to winterize the house, slap some new shingles on the barn, do some fence work, vaccinate calves, clear brush ...

Looks like I'll be doing the "night before the draft" thing again.

Every time I see the title of this thread, I think it's another ad for Cialis.

some notes done, some gut feelings i'm considering, some reading to do still. finding out where i pick in the first round seems to alter my stratagy quite a bit; i'll be ready though.

I'll probably just wait until Friday and set up my contingency list then. Too much work otherwise, and I'm already running on fumes.

Now that the KL's up and going I'm getting the urge to get my ducks in a row. But it'll have to wait until Thursday night.
