His Indianapolis Colts are one of five 2-0 teams in the NFL today, but Tony Dungy isn’t satisfied.

“We were able to dig it out in the fourth quarter and that’s what good teams do," Dungy said this afternoon of his team’s 10-3 victory Sunday afternoon over the Jacksonville Jaguars. “We’ve obviously got to play better all the way around.

“It was great to get it and we’ll make our corrections and move forward."

The Colts will take their 2-0 record into the RCA Dome Sunday against Cleveland (1-1) after turning back the Jaguars with a strong defense and an uncharacteristically inefficient offense.

The defense sacked Jacksonville quarterback Byron Leftwich six times and pounded him throughout. It allowed only one field goal after limiting Baltimore’s offense to a late touchdown in the season opener.

“We’re thrilled with 10 points,’’ Dungy said, “but there’s still a lot of things we can do better defensively and we’ll get that addressed."

Dungy wasn’t reaching for the panic button regarding the Colts’ offense. It was held to 268 yards and quarterback Peyton Manning finished with just 122 passing yards, the lowest output of his career with the exception of last year’s start at Denver when he played only three plays.

“Our offense will get squared away and they’ll start moving the ball and start scoring," Dungy said.

Injury update: The Colts appear to be in the market for a running back. Backups Dominic Rhodes (left shoulder) and James Mungro (right knee) were injured against Jacksonville and are expected to miss at least Sunday’s game. Mungro sustained a sprained medial collateral ligament in his right knee.

That leaves the Colts with only two healthy running backs – Edgerrin James and Ran Carthon.

“We may have to get another back to help us this week," Dungy said.

Expect to see Quintin Griffith in a Colts jersey........

That would provide an interesting change of pace. I do like what little I've seen of Ran Carthon. Nifty and powerful run Sunday for the TD.

Someone want to tell me why Denver got rid of Griffin? He had one really good year if I remember...

Yes as it is apparent every team is going to force the run , they are going to need more depth at RB. Griffin would be real nice

If we would sign QG, then do you think that we could run the ball by comittee next year with DR, JM and QG if we don't resign edge next year?
