If you look at all the players' photos for the Kings, it looks like the photographer told them to think about the ladies when he took their picture, especially Webber. It looks like the Pacers' photographer told our players to just look straight ahead and smile.

Al is being interviewed now on ESPN...

Comment from Al: "I think the biggest thing [regarding the Pacers' current success] is Donnie Walsh keeping us together these last 3 years"

zxc
03-19-2004, 08:26 PM
Nice, saw that interview. They got Chris Webber out therre now he is in a suit.. is he playing? Tipoff in like 10 mins.

Eh nevermind probably previously recorded by the looks of the crowd or lack thereof and such in the background.

Nice, saw that interview. They got Chris Webber out therre now he is in a suit.. is he playing? Tipoff in like 10 mins.

That's what he's gonna wear during the game, to even things out since Artest is out... ;)

So zxc - who's taking your fantasy league series with Peck? I thought you won that series already?

zxc
03-19-2004, 08:34 PM
Wish I knew. I got a good chance in game 7 but with Jason Kidd and Kenyon Martin out tonight Kerry Kittles could yet again be the deciding factor with a big game. He stole game 5 from me. Losing after being up 3-0.. :(

BostonConnection
03-19-2004, 08:37 PM
Perhaps we should do a game thread for you and Peck - I can put in a "=\" on your behalf... :D

Southside_Pacer
03-19-2004, 08:41 PM
O'Neal gets things started with the deuce.

I think the crowd is jacket and is ready to expload.

Bibby ties things up.

2-2

BostonConnection
03-19-2004, 08:41 PM
Still pissed that ESPN is showing the oh-so-important Celtics/Mavs game tonight instead of this one...

Southside_Pacer
03-19-2004, 08:41 PM
Al with the nice turnaround jumper. 4-2 Pacers.

Webber misses a long jumper. Jeff get the board. Yet the Pacers turn the ball over. :unimpressed:

zxc
03-19-2004, 08:42 PM
Tough start for Tinsley there losing the ball.

JO 2-2 though.. but on jump shots still

Southside_Pacer
03-19-2004, 08:42 PM
Sacto misses the long jumper.

O'Neal makes the fade-a-way over jumper. Very pretty shot by JO.

6-2 Pacers

O'Neal 4 points on 2-2 shooting

zxc
03-19-2004, 08:43 PM
Tinsley can't keep up with Bibby at all so far it seems. Fouls him on a three pointer now..

Southside_Pacer
03-19-2004, 08:44 PM
Very stupid foul by Tinsley. Sending Bibby to the line for three.

Bibby misses the first, makes the second, makes the third.

6-4 Pacers.

Southside_Pacer
03-19-2004, 08:45 PM
Divac taking a three?? Man his **** was UGLY. He bricks it.

AL with the ACROBATIC shot!! :o Al looks good so far!!

10-4 Pacers.

zxc
03-19-2004, 08:45 PM
heh, Lucky shot for al there. Nice start for the Pacers.

Southside_Pacer
03-19-2004, 08:46 PM
12-4 Pacers.

Pacers attacking the basket on each possession for the most part. JO with another jumper to make it 12-4.

Pacers seem very loose, look like they're having fun, and the crowd is JACKED tonight!!

14-4, timeout Kings. Damn Kings looking sluggish tonight, good news for us. Though this happened Portland game too we started on fire on offense than just went ice cold. Hope we avoid that tonight.

still fuming after reading proof that the NBA does not want the Pacers to succeed (seems Stu's summer house is to big to fit in Indy) and decided once again to take Artest out of the game to help the queenies a bit.

Looking like a great start.

:stupid:

Southside_Pacer
03-19-2004, 08:50 PM
Christie makes the long two point basket. No Brad Miller sighting yet.

O'Neal draws the foul on Webber inside. O'Neal is winning that battle big time so far.

JO makes the first foul shot. Misses the second though.

Southside_Pacer

Reggie gets in the lane and makes the finger roll. Nice move by Reg!!

:pacers: 17

:kings: 6

Brad comes in to come cheers and some boos. Mixed reaction from what I could hear on the TV.

zxc
03-19-2004, 08:51 PM
King's D terrible so far. 17-6. They starting to get some better looks on offense though, and now Brad checking in.

Southside_Pacer
03-19-2004, 08:52 PM
JO looks great tonight. Nine points out of 19 so far for the Pacers. They cannot stop JO inside at all.

:pacers: 19

:kings: 11

Peja makes a long three off a Kings offensive board.

zxc
03-19-2004, 08:52 PM
Damn offensive rebounds :( Don't need to get Peja going with easy looks like that.

Southside_Pacer
03-19-2004, 08:53 PM
Christie just got away with a goaltend. Tinsley had a fast break yet it got blocked.

:pacers: 19

:kings: 13

Miller made two on the other end. Tinsley just fouls Christie, stupid foul by Tins.

zxc
03-19-2004, 08:54 PM
Tinsley with an early second foul. King's getting back in this quick now.

zxc
03-19-2004, 08:54 PM
Clear path foul? What? There is no way that was a clear path. Christie was way in the back.

Southside_Pacer
03-19-2004, 08:55 PM
Tinsley just got called for a "clear path" foul. Tinsley is not in the game tonight mentally. Two very stupid fouls that are not really helping the team.

Cheap call as they called it a "clear path" foul, but oh well.

Refs are calling cheap stuff on us now. :unimpressed:

able
03-19-2004, 08:56 PM
As i said, the NBA has ordered a stop to the Pacers run to fame, refs making that clear to.

Sickening, but it just is something we have to overcome, stripping the ball from JO without fouling is also neigh on impossible, but ......

GO Pacers

zxc

Bender hits the fade-a-way jumper. Bender is 3-3 out there. 7 points for JB.

Another cheap foul going against the Pacers. They call it on Austin for "throwing Webber" out of the way. Pacers are over the limit, Kings have one foul called on them.

Webber splits from the line. :unimpressed:

Other than Jones, the guards are not playing well tonight...

Gonna be real deflating if Pacers can't get it together here. King's were ripe for the picking and us without Artest would be a huge win. Real tough game tommorow night too. :(

Of course, a possible reason could be that we have no artest on the floor...

we have on wee advantage going towards the end of the game, their starters are tiring, ours are WELL rested by now, they should be able to make a real nice closing run!
