Rocky Calmus' season is over before it began. The veteran linebacker, acquired by the Colts in a trade with Tennessee last weekend, will spend the 2005 season on the injured-reserve list. He suffered a pulled hamstring in practice Thursday.

In another roster move, the agent for safety Dexter Reid confirmed the player has been re-signed by the Colts. Reid was cut early in the week.

Tight end Dallas Clark (concussion) took his neuro-psychological test Saturday morning, but the results weren't announced. Clark and cornerback Marlin Jackson (shoulder) were expected to make the trip to Baltimore; their availability will be determined today.

I would have preferred that he stayed cut...

And who knows about Clark and Jackson. I really would like to have Jackson play, we need him badly.

Sep 11 Clark will be a gametime decision for the Colts' season opener sunday night against the Baltimore Ravens. The tight end, who suffered a concussion in a preseason game against the Denver Broncos two weeks ago, was held out of contact drills all week as a precautionary measure. A decision wlil be made once doctors review the results of neurological tests taken on Friday. In 15 games last year, Clark hauled in 25 passes for 423 yards and five touchdowns. Advice: In addition to the concussion, Clark missed some time early in camp recovering from offseason hernia surgery, as well as battling a minor hamstring injury. Officially, he is listed as questionable for the weekend, but expect him to be in the lineup. With Marcus Pollard no longer in the mix, Clark should see his touches increase in 2005, as long as he can get and stay healthy.

I seems like Clark is always getting hit on the head. I've never noticed this, but does he have "hit here" painted on his helmet or what?

Marcus Pollard just scored his first touchdown as a lion.
