ColtPower has confirmed that special teams star Gerome Sapp will be ready for his return to Baltimore, and that wide receiver Troy Walters is likely to re-sign with the team this week.

Colts safety Gerome Sapp (http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=113&p=8&c=1&nid=1861032), who was missing from the last few preseason games after suffering a shoulder injury, will be ready for action with the starting special teams units this Sunday night in Baltimore.

The game against the Ravens has special significance for Sapp as he started his career in Baltimore as a rookie prior to joining the Colts.

Sapp told ColtPower that he was healthy enough to play against the Bengals, but the coaches, doctors, and Colts President Bill Polian felt it was better for him to just rest and get ready for the regular season. So he sat out along with most of the Colts' starters.

"I'm feeling really good," Sapp said. "The doctors cleared me to play, so I'm full go now, and I actually can't wait to get out there -- especially against the Ravens."

"That stadium's going to be packed, and it's going to be exciting playing against a lot of my old teammates. It's going to be a fun game."

ColtPower also confirmed through Troy Walter's agent, Kenneth Landphere, that the Colts have expressed interest in re-signing the wide receiver. As a result, Landphere hasn't actively tried to shop Walters' talents to other teams as he is optimistic from the Colts' comments that his client will be rejoining the team.

Putting Walters back on the roster would require the Colts to release another player to make room for him.
