Internship, or volunteer?

I volunteer out at the nursing home, it's actually not that bad. I wheel a few people around, and talk with my bud in the break room.

Internships usually pay, so this is strictly volunteering

I am almost 22 and I am a pizza delivery specialist so I have done a lot of driving in my day. I got my first punctured tire this past week while I was taking a delivery but as luck would have it the bolt that was in my tire wasn't letting any air out. I didn't want to risk driving on the it so I decided to put on the dummy spare. Well I had no problem for a couple of days but when I was leaving the K-Mart parking lot, that spare tire hit a pot hole dead on. The results weren't pretty, the tire was completely flattened and the rim was bent. In the end it just seemed weird that I had to change out the spare, and put on the tire that had been replaced by the spare in the first place.

Two friends, a blonde and a brunette, are walking down the street and pass a flower shop where the brunette happens to see her boyfriend buying flowers. She sighs and says, "Oh, crap, my boyfriend is buying me flowers again...for no reason."
The blonde looks quizzically at her and says, "What's the big deal, don't you like getting flowers?"
The brunette says, "Oh sure... but he always has expectations after getting me flowers, and I just don't feel like spending the next three days on my back with my legs in the air."
The blonde says, ....."Don't you have a vase?"

Are you on a diet?

What are you on?

Hey, just tryin' to help move this thing along....

Yeah. I'm not on any specifically named diet, but most diets are some variation of Atkins it seems.

Basically, I limit myself to 2000 or less calories a day. I strive to eat every 3 hours or so. I take in a moderate amount of protein (about 150 grams a day), and try to eat low fat, low sugar items. Mostly, I eat tuna, grilled chicken, lean beef, lean turkey, whole grain/wheat bread, brown rice, veggies, fruits, and lowfat Lactaid milk ('cause I'm lactose intolerant  ).

I seem to have lost plenty of weight everywhere except in the abdominal region. Mostly, it tends to bunch up because I have a small waist, but I still feel I can do much better there. Currently, I do cardio in the morning (about 30 minutes of jogging) and weight lifting (about 45 minutes worth w/free weights) three days a week.

Stay away from high fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated fats as much as possible and exercise. Fresh fruits and veggies are your friends, as are lean cuts of meat, fish, and poultry.

May I add a plug for the South Beach Diet? It kicks azz, and is very healthy.

If you want to really take the plunge, check our Ornish, or whatever his name is - but South Beach is much more realistic.

Well, the problem with pelvic thrusts, crunches, and other abdominal exercises is that you can build rock hard abs, but they'll never show until you get rid of the belly fat. Why do you think you see 15 and 16 year olds who have never worked out a day in their lives and have a six pack? Because they have virtually no body fat, that's why.

South Beach Diet, eh? I've heard of it. I'll check it out.

Janitor: Yeah, we got him. And he's gonna pay.
JD: They're actually arresting someone for stealing pudding and toilet paper?
Janitor: No. They found twenty bottles of Vicodin in his backpack. Did you steal pudding and toilet paper?
JD: What? No! I hate pudding, and I don't use toilet...paper. (pause) I have one of those French things that shoots water up your butt.
