Why would they put AJ in when they need a steal???????????

They needed a foul and didn't want to risk one on Artest who had 5 fouls.

Hicks

Pacers forced to foul.

McGinnis to the line with 18 seconds left.

MISSES THE FIRST.

Artest back in (was out so he wouldn't foul a second ago).

Hits the 2nd.

Pacers timeout. They're down 3 w/ 18 seconds left.

This has a hold, dribble, pass, clank, buzz feel to it.

Reggie? Tins? Artest? O'NEAL???

I don't think the Pacers can go for the and 1 in the post...the refs won't call it. :unimpressed:

O'Neal to Tinsley, who misses the 3.

Boozer has it, loses it.

Miller's pass knocked out by James.

This loss doesn't shock me at all.

We didn't play well on the defensive end at all today. Cleveland has been winning games both at home and on the road lately. They're NOT a bad team.

Ron missd the 3, a loss is a fact

great game,. sad to lose but they played fantastic ( I would say over their top) and we forgot to play defense.

guess i know what will be drilled when they come back to Indy.

Kings have not won their game either yet, and most they can do is draw, we will be back and I still feel comfortable that we can play better D and they can not keep this up over a series.

JO had a monster game, to bad we lost.

The entire point of defense is that it's not supposed to take a game off. Bad defense from a good defensive team equals either a powerhouse offensive opponent, or laziness. Which was the case today?

May too much time with AJ, way too little time with Jeff in this one.

Tinsley wasn't exactly tearing things up out there either. 2-7 shooting 5 turnovers not sure why he deserved more time.

Anyway, now we might lose the chance to be first team to 50 wins. Sac looks to be on track to win their game now and their next game is before our next. Oh well :(

IMO, Cleveland is really gonna be a competitor next year. Not a title contender, but they will be one of the top teams in the East. Z/Boozer is a good frontline (reminds me a little of Smits/Davis) and McInnis/James seem to gel pretty well in the backcourt.

No, I'm not just basing it off of this game, but how they've been playing since the Miles/McInnis trade. Boozer and James are continuing to get better. Watch out for them next year.

I couldn't care less if we play Cleveland. We beat them 3 out 4 times and nearly beat them today on their home floor with them shooting lights out. Christ guys, they have to MAKE the playoffs first.

They will. Right now they are in 6th. The Knicks are about to lose puting them out of the playoffs for now.

I would not be suprised if the Cavs were the 5th seed.

hear hear

I couldn't agree more.

AND we played hardly any defense, only Ron and some from JO, Ron got in foul trouble so he could not keep James in tag.
Al shot 8 of 10, great but he lost his man so many times it hurt and had some seriously stupid fouls including a T for hanging.

Jeff would seriously most likely have helped more towards the end, but we are not the coach.

I am sure Rick is not happy with the defense played today, nor should he be.

Bender is great on offense but again no defense,

Tins 5 turnovers, that is a statistic freak, a slip through the hands from Al, couple of steals and a weird offensive foul account for those, not bad passing,

AJ played decent today, though he remains a liability on defense,

In the meantime Sac town is murdering SA now, 91 -75 so we are equal once again

Bah.. our next game gonna be a tough one too. Portland seems to be hitting their stride they about to beat Minnesota on the road today and they have us next.

Without seeing the game it is hard for me to analyze it. Seems like both teams had it going offensively, seemed like the Pacers had trouble stopping the Cavs and keeping them off the offensive boards, seems like Artest got into foul trouble, seems like J.O had a great game as did AL, and it seemed like it was a very entertaining game.

Noticed how many times I used the word seemed or seems.

One good thing if the Cavs keep winning Pacers will not play them oin the 1st round.

Cavs are good, IMO Cavs are clearly the 4th best team in the east behind the Pacers, Pistons and Nets.

Likely first round matchup of Pistons and Cavs should be a good one
