His high school, Gerstmeyer, provided Dardeen with an impressive basketball tradition. Indiana Pacers radio analyst Bob "Slick" Leonard graduated from Gerstmeyer in 1950, and the high school reached at least the state semifinals four out of five years from 1953 to 1957.

So going by my list he did not make it as an All-Star. Note that hey only carried 10 players on the Indiana All-Star team then.

I remember them talking about him when I was growing up in TH....must a been reminiscing.

BTW...thanks for the link, that could be a kul site for info.

BTW#2....as of yesterday, Jr. has a carpool ride to High School with Bobby Plump's granddaughter. (now let's see how many people ask who is Bobby Plump)

I gotta tell ya Gyron, the family has gotten a huge kick outta your avatar. Boykins is the exact same size as Geezer Jr (and just a tad bit bigger than Geezerette). It really puts Shaq into perspective for them.

The minute I saw that picture I just laughed. I mean I have never seen either in person, but Boykins is around my size(ok, so he's 5 inches shorter, but still) so it kinda gave me an idea of how big Shaq really is in real life.
