Time to dig out all the usual clichés - this is pretty much a must-win game for
Detroit tonight, and I fully expect them to play that way. Pistons in a close win.

Spurs in a blowout win. 20 plus points. Stevie Wonder even did a song about the Pistons feelings in the pregame.

Nah. San Antonio's too good a team to try a reverse jinx on. I already expressed my thoughts on how the series will go. Spurs will win in 6.

I voted for other.

I think the low ratings are due mostly to the media telling people how "boring" this series is going to be.

That is the main topic, so the casual supporter say " Why bother".

I can't watch. I'm trying to watch the game, but all I keep thinking is "What if the brawl never happened. I think we'd be playing right now, I might even be in Conseco watching the game. Or maybe we'd have a 2-0 lead playing in San Antonio." I haven't watched a game yet in the series, and i don't think Ill be able to watch untill its an elimination game. At least then I can watch the Pistons CRY!!!!

Great tip-in by Duncan to finish the first quarter.

Well, it may not be a blowout (although it still could be), but the Spurs are definitely going to win. Pistons came out with a ton of energy, and really didn't play a bad overall quarter. And they're down 6.

Pistons came out with a ton of energy, and really didn't play a bad overall quarter. And they're down 6.

That does have to be worrisome to the Piston's coaching staff, they couldn't have asked for much more from their team from an energy and hustle standpoint, and they're still unable to maintain a lead on the Spurs.

oh? I wonder if that's just as cool as Kennedy Space Center down here in florida. I usually go there when I drive over to visit my girlfriend. (SHE HAD TO GO TO UCF!)

This is some bs. But it's not over yet! You can win the last 6 minutes and ride off on a 5 pt win.
let these overrated cocky fools get confident. It's all inevitable.

I've never been to Kenedy. JSC is neat in that you get to visist the mission control from Apollo. The seats and stuff in the visitation viewing room are the same as when the big wigs visited there during the missions. Also got to see th mock up room where they train for missions.

So, is Ginobli injured? He went out in serious pain early on. Haven't seen anything lately other that the **** job by the refs lately.

That's probably why Ginobli isn't shooting is the injury. Detroit is the luckiest ****ing team ever with injuries to opponents key players!!!

wow! What bs. I mean it goes off Detroit for sure. And they give it to them. Then rip cans a 3 pushes it back to 14. I mean that's just bs. Of course the NBA doesn't want a sweep. You can see it now. More games=More Money. Spurs in 6. Complete garbage.

Shrug, they won't be able to get that kind of ref advantage every night in Detroit, so no matter what, it only makes my prediction of the Spurs in 5 come out :D

Well, of course we don't know how much it hurts but based on the fact that Ginobilli has driven hard to the basket it looks like he's not slowed down by the early injury. Could be throwing off his jump shot I suppose, though.

He's good enough to play. If you're good enough to play, you look like an idiot if you play the injury card.

They wouldn't know what adversity is, if it walked up and kicked them square in the balls. I'm really getting tired of the Pistons talking like they had an injury riden season, and what not. Larry was the only one out any extended time, and last time I checked coaches don't put the ball in the basket.

When they have key players go down, then we can start to talk about adversity. When they play with 6 players, and by that I mean the other ones cant have DNP-CD beside their names, then they'll be in the club.

I guarentee that none of the Spurs will cry about the refs like Brown and his players have.

I'm not surprised that Detroit got this game really. It would have been news if the Spurs actually pulled it out. Your guys had to know it was their turn anyway, at least that's what Rasheed says.

Maybe the Spurs need to put him on his face next game like Wallace did Parker. Find out how effective that mask is. I doubt that will happen though.

Well then everyone was pretty dumb in doing that. The Rip comment was in jest. I'm not one for trying to hurt someone. Hard fouls, yes, trying to put someone out no.

I wasn't taking it seriously.

However, Rip HAS been getting wacked in the face quite a bit. He took another shot to the head tonight from bowen, if you recall.

Whatever physical play the Spurs get in this series, we've been been on the receiving end just as much.

I really don't mind physical play. The Spurs are easily the most physical team in the NBA. But I don't want to hear complaint when their smaller guards get as much contact as ours get.......
