How can there be 3 straight offensive foul calls against the Spurs tonight, but the refs swallowed the wistle against Baby Shaq in game 4? I was telling my wife Bill Walton should announce wrestleing the way he goes overboad, but its obvious he already does. The worst officials in pro sports hands down. I'm so close to stopping watching it isn't funny.

I guess this is in the wrong spot. Move it to the shout box.

Where have you been for the past 10 years? Atleast they are consistent, if they are good at something, it's good at being consistently bad...actually, they're horrible not bad. I would love to see the players strike for better officiating. Seriously, when they talk about the good refs, it makes me want to puke. When they say that, i just think they aren't nearly as ****ty as some of them.

I've been saying the same thing for longer than 10 years. I'm just to the point where I either have to get over it or stop watching. I may be to competitive to get over it, so i may have to choose the second one.

Same **** different night. Amare the chosen one gets to stay int the game even though he is pushing guys down and delivering cheap shots. **** this crap.

At least the better team won, even at 7 on 5

Yeah, the refs are pretty bad. But, they are better than those refs from the Olympic games.

The main problem is the vast inconsistency in calls, and not just from game to game, but from play to play. The referees are far too easily affected by big names, big markets, and player reactions. It's hard to tell if it's due to incompetence or just plain 'ol bias, but as long as Hitler Stern is in charge, it's obviously not going to be fixed.

The NBA has a lot of problems right now, and the officating (or lack thereof) is at the top of this list. Why is there no greater power with the ability to step in and regulate this crap? If it wasn't blatantly obvious in the Kings/Lakers and Wolves/Lakers series' over the last few years, I don't know what is. When one team consistently gets ALL the calls regardless of what's going on, something is obviously not right out there.

P.S. Dick Bavetta is a joke. I wish the old bum would just retire already.

Sorry for the late reply, I just checked my own thread. Pretty funny. I would have said the same to one of my students had they written that!
