Remind me, do the coaches or media vote for this?

Forget about Kobe being third-team, whomever gave him a 1st vote should be shot. Never mind that "PJ Brown getting a 5th place MVP vote", this is the real stunner.

Besides that, I have a real problem with Dirk on the 1st team. Yeah, I know Dallas was way better than Minny, but I have a problem with someone who can't play D on the first team. I'd rather have Amare as a forward up there. Move Dirk down, drop LeBron down to replace Kobe, move Ben up and put Yao as 3rd team.

Now there's a contradiction if I've ever seen one

Dirk was without a doubt the best player on a 58-win team. He deserved it.

....and in what universe did Amare Stoudemire become a good defender?

Yeah, I know. I just really don't like Dirk. Ever since I saw him lose to New Zeland in the WBC, I just think he's worthless.

.....and it had nothing to do with the fact he was playing with a bunch of guys that couldnt made an NBDL roster?

You didn't see the New Zealand team. I swear I saw their subs come in from the stands.

I have no problem whatsoever with Kobe Bryant being on the third team. I think it's the perfect spot for him, especially when you consider James and McGrady played the 3 for their respective teams this season. 27.4 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 6.0 apg. He didn't deserve to be ahead of any of the guards on the first two teams.

Who else should be ahead of Kobe? 5th or 6th best guard in the league this season. Sounds about right to me.

I'm ok with it, but when a guy like Larry Hughes gets 1 vote total, that's a crime. Hell, Reggie got more votes than he did.
