I saw this and thought it was a good one. Toronto probably wouldn't do it but they have made some dumber moves in the past.

Pacers get:
Jalen Rose
future 2nd round pick

Raps get:
Jonathan Bender
Austin Croshere
conditional future 1st round pick(top 15 protected)

WHY IT COULD WORK FOR THE PACERS:
Larry Bird is a big Jalen Rose fan. Remember, he made him the featured player when he coached the team back in the day. I think he'd be happy to have him back with the Pacers.

WHY IT COULD WORK FOR THE RAPS:
They acquire more depth and get another 1st rounder.
RAPS LINE-UP:
PG-Alston/Williams
SG-MoPete/#16 pick(Fernandez)
C-Bosh/Arajuo/ATrain
SF-EWill/Bender/Murray
PF-#7 pick(Taft or Splitter)/Croshere

Sorry 31forever.........no takers here.

Reportedly, Bird WAS NOT a Rose fan, so I doubt you'll see him back here.

Two Jalen Roses on one team? Yeah, I'm sure that'd work out.

2 Jalen Roses on one team? Who is the other one, Jack?

Well, Jack actually plays defense. That said, we will be thin at the back court, so Jalen could fill a need. Also, this team is dying for offense. I know we've built our team around solid defense, but this is basketball. You have to score. It won't happen, but it's not that bad, either.

Yeah and Jack doesnt think he could be the best pointguard in the NBA.

And I don't think he speaks in third person form...

We're going to bring Jalen back to Indy to come off the bench?

That would be flat-out nasty. Not in the good way.

Bird reportedly said about Rose when asked if he breaks plays. Bird said yes and now the next coach has to deal with him. Bird said that as he was leaving in 2000
