Does anyone know when this will likely be if it occurs?

Sunday. It'll be the early game (2:30) if there is another game that day. Otherwise probably around 5:30 or 6...

Wouldnt it be on Saturday?

That's too bad.

I don't have any stats to back this up, but I've always believed that the Pacers play very poorly in afternoon games.

Pacers are 1-4 in afternoon games this season

There are three games scheduled for Sunday. My guess is ABC (2:30) will have first choice, and if past experience is any guide they will pick the Pacers v Pistons. Like they did yesterday and like they are Thursday.

Of course if something crazy happens in one of the other two series, then they might change and pick one of the west games.

But I would bet game #7 will be on a 2:30

No problem, We will just have to win it in 6 then.

I'm wrong again.

The Detroit Free Press is reporting game #7 will be:

Sunday night at either 6:00 or 7:00 Indy time.

Great. I hope that's right. I've got to make a 4 and a half hour drive Sunday for an interview on Monday, and a 2:30 start would make for an early drive or a late one. Ideally, 2:30 would be right in the middle of my drive.

As a Piston fan, I've got a real, real bad feeling about Game 5. Pistons simply can't stand prosperity. Couldn't in last season's playoffs (until the Finals), and they still can't this year.

You're correct. And the one game we won was a terrible performance. We got lucky b/c Washington shot even worse than we did that game. Bottom line - the Pacers, for whatever reason, are nocturnal - we play like **** when the sun is out.

Thanks for the stat. I'm glad it wasn't my imagination. I remember thinking the same thing last year, too.

He's just applying reverse jinxology. He said the same thing before game 4.

Yeah, you're one to talk. You lost us Game 4 against Boston, which lead to the horrible Prime Number Rule. (Though, I guess tonight I should say "wonderful" Prime Number Rule. Or maybe I need to jinx it. Or is it reverse jinx? I get so confused. )

Hey - don't bash the Prime Number Rule! (Since that theory was mine)

You win every prime number game from here on in, and lose every non-Prime Number Game and the Pacers win the title.

They'll be very tired Pacers but still ...
