Tonight's game is on WB4, so for you central Indiana residents who don't want to listen to Bill Walton's oh-so fascinating commentary, Al and Special K are a much-needed alternative.

Bill Walton is just compeletly stupid. That conversation about Indiana's defense was just retarded. Even the other commentator didnt know how to reply to Walton's idiocy. I now feel a tad more stupid after having to listen to that....

Isaac

Is it just me, or is Bill Walton rooting for the Pistons?

Hes been talking about how great they are since the tipoff, and about how much better they are then the Pacers.

05-13-2005, 08:14 PM
haha thats ok Reggie. holding them to 28 in the first half sure as hell aint bad.

Wow, that half FLEW by. When we are playing great time just flys. When we are getting crushed (like game 1) the half takes forever.

Absolutely. And I'd like to think we all know that.

We can still play better. Dale only has 2 points, and JO and Reg are only having "meh" games thus far, not to mention Jack. Lots of room for improvement on the offensive end.

Jermaniac
05-13-2005, 08:15 PM
Our guys have to come out for the 2nd half just like they did in the first one, with lots of energy and playing like they want this game more then the Pistons. If we relax like we did lots of times against the Celtics they will come back.

We've played very well in the 4th quarter throughout the playoffs, so the third will likely be where Detroit makes it's run.

Absolutly. We have to not look at the scoreboard at all. Get it in our minds that we are down 10 and play that way. Don't think about the score, think that we need a stop and a bucket on every single play. We are playing great, but we have NOT won yet.

NorCal_Pacerfan
05-13-2005, 08:26 PM
Wow, I missed the first quarter and when I turned it on I was blown away by what I saw. We were up 18! Amazing.

I'm stoked, but we all know how a lead can slip away. If we can just play consistent, then we can win this one.

Go Pacers!

The downside of this is, it seems to be that the team that jumps out to a big lead generally loses the game.

However, with it being Friday the 13th, as well as a prime number game, maybe it'll offset. ;)

If we (knock on wood) hold on here, we'll get their best shot in game 4.

AJ leading the fast break is a bad thing lol. Thats twice now he and Freddie have been on a fastbreak 2 on 1 and AJ fumbled it, of course he at least drew the foul on the first one. Come on man, you gotta pass it to the former slam dunk champion on a fast break!

I gotta tell you I am treating this as if we were tied or down by 1. I do not like how we are unable to take advantage of the Pistons being ice-cold. If someone on Detroit goes off in the last 5 minutes I'm scared to death we won't be able to keep this lead.

No, you shouldn't worry. The Pistons are still a much better team; they only need to win one in Indy and I don't think that'll be a problem for em. This Pacers team is incredibly streaky from game to game, and two good ones in a row is as much as they can muster.
