TMJ31
04-28-2005, 09:44 PM
Now we cannot let the celts get their hearts back in the series. We need to limit any runs they have to small 4-6 point runs, no BIG runs that will get them up and excited and hopeful to come back.

coming back in the third and putting away ANY hope of a comeback (ala: game 1) is exactly what we need to get not only the W, but that extra little bit of doubt in the back of their heads.

GO PACERS!

No kidding. The last few days the Boston media has said there's basically no valid reason the Celtics should lose this series to an injured, short-handed Pacers team. Eddie Andelman on 1510 The Zone guaranteed a Celtics win in the series.

We're still a long, long way from this series being even close to over, but a win tonight would really start to put the pressure on a [I believe] mentally fragile Celtics team.

Interesting note about the TNT broadcast. I have it on in the background, and early on, when the Pacers game just started, they said that they would be checking in on the Pacers/Celtics game as it progressed. Well, they haven't played a single clip...
Not that this is a big deal, but I sure would like to see the highlights from the first half.

(and somehow I wonder... if the Celtics were blowing out the Pacers, would they be showing clips left and right? Or am I just biased?)

Of course, they should cut in from an OT game to show a rout. That'd make sense.

1. They are cutting in left and right to show the Mavs/Rockets game.

2. They had plenty of time to show clips prior to the OT.

Of course, they're cutting in to show the Mavs/Rockets game. That's on TNT, and Mavs and Rockets fans might want to know the progress, since they can't see it anywhere else.

Pacers and Celtics game is over.
