O'Neal isn't certain to play tonight at Orlando.

"If it was my choice, I would be out there," he said.

Ugh. Please don't 'Bender' him, pulling him in and out. I know it's only this one game if it happens, but he only has 2 more games to get the rust off, don't waste one of them. We need both games for the rust-factor and also to better integrate him into the offense/defense again.

He kept flexing that shoulder yesterday - I have no idea if it was stiff, sore, or if he was just doing a personal analysis.

Not sure what the point of yesterday was for then. I'm sure Croshere will still be out. I gotta tell ya - the injury stuff this year is almost laughable.

I'd rather not risk him in what should be a sure win.

I think today's shootaround might be more important for him than the actual game.

I hope the shoulder isn't bruised...

It might not be a bad idea to just give him 15-20 minutes, just to keep a game rhythm going...

"Bruised" has seemed to mean "Potentially out for the season" in Pacer jargon this season. ...In case people missed the sarcasm....

I rather have him take some pre game shooting. Immediately playing each and every game, I dunno if that's wise considering he already IS back VERY early. Give the man some extra rest and protect him against himself, offcourse he wants to play, but if it's not wise then don't do it or max 15 minutes or something like that.

Regards,

Mourning

Since I was the one saying he would play this weekend, despite other news, I will say another thing :) he will play tonight, limited, but if he wants, he plays.

If not then say sayonara to the playoffs, thre is no time to start fresh players of JO's importance who are rusty, nice game to shake it, few problem players for JO n the Magic, plus if we win he can sit out most of wednesday's game.

(but will be there a token number of minutes for Reggie).

Well, the problem may just be playing back-to-backs, and there are none in the playoffs.

Let him play damn it, put him in for 10-15 minutes and let him get some kind of flow going, if we just put him out there against the Celtics and he has had no time to work with the team in real games he will be rusty like he was yesterday
