What song would you choose to describe this season?

I was thinkin "another one bites the dust" by queen

Dunno about the season, but I think all the Pacers/Pistons games should start off with "Why Can't We Be Friends?" by War.

DJPB, you out there? If we blow the Pistons out of a home game in the playoffs, I'd sure like to hear this near the end.

I much prefer "Like Suicide" by Soundgarden. Might as well go out with a bang. :)

I picked an entire album and re-ordered it to try to mirror the season.

It's "The Rising" by Bruce Springsteen.

I figured only Jay and I would know what it was.........

Good choices so far.

But for the remainder of the regular season, as we get ready for the PLAYOFFS.....

"For Those About To Rock" AC/DC

I was originally going to do the same thing I did with the entire Darkness album, but there were too many good parallels on The Rising. I might need to do a mix of the two......

"I wanna spit in the face of these Badlands" is perfect, though.......

Ever see the movie Badlands? One of my favorites. Knew it was The Rising, by the way. Do you have Ennio's A Fistful of Film Music?

Haven't seen Badlands, although I know I should have by now. I've heard the Nebraska album, so I know how it turns out......

I don't have A Fistful of Film Music, although I do have the soundtracks for The Good, The Bad and The Ugly and Once Upon a Time in the West......Probably need to look into that one......

I should say so. A friend gave me his several years ago and it's the kind of music you can just have on and enjoy, especially the first disc. If I ever get around to picking up some CD-Rs, I'll burn you a copy and send it to you.

I was too busy reviewing a report (I hate when work gets in the way spending all day on PD  ) but I was planning to post "Waitin' On A Sunny Day" in honour of our :sunshine: brigade.

The Rising is quite appropriate.

I may have to take you up on that. Judging from my quick tour around the 'net, it's OOP........
