From now on, this thread will collect all 'classic' indytoad posts seen on the Pacers board. Predominately the ones thrown out during a game.

Considering most of the time he winds up with egg on his face, whatever outcome made him look like a fool should be posted with the quote. :)

Miami's just due for a win overall - they've lost four in a row. They're now completely healthy are going to be primed to prove the last three games were flukes. Not only that, but the Pacers are gonna try to ride a rusty JO, which'll just make it even more of a disaster.

Heat are getting way too many wide open shots. They're playing for real today.

7th seed isn't that bad I guess.

Boy this game is getting ugly. Oh, look, no defense at all, imagine that. Whoda thunkit.

I have a hard time sitting through Dr.Jack's commentary.

Does anyone else just feel the need to mute his insightful comments? Nothing against the guy, I just don't think he's cut out for this job.

C'mon JD, Dr. Jack isn't all that bad, JD. Sometimes, JD, his insights are quite enlightening, JD.

Hmm, Wade goes out and the Heat jump ahead by 7.

It's game. The offense and the defense are both putrid today.

With Shaq out in the 2nd half, we should have taken advantage.

Even without Shaq the Heat still had a 10-point lead at halftime. They had plenty of superior players at the other positions to hold on with that kind of handicap.

Don't get me wrong, if Shaq had been out the entire game we still would have lost. Just saying it's not something they really could take advantage of any more than they did.

This thread alone could make even the most fanatical Pacer fan want to commit emotional suicide.

WOW! Ok, that does it! If EVEN the closest competition for "Most Pessimistic Pacers Digest Poster" goes ":shudder:" than we can start handing out this award ahead of the rest of the awards. Actually, why not let Toad threepeat immediately as a token of "respect"???

;)

Well, I did have some choice words during the New Jersey game, I'm suprised they didn't end up here.

I mean, no I didn't. So don't go back and check or anything.

Arg! Damn!

Pacers are, simply put, not a playoff team. If there were 10 more games in the season they'd be out. They had a nice little streak riding the emotion of Reggie's last hurrah and Dale's return, but now they've used it all up and are back to sucking again.

At least this should put a stop to the Carlisle COY nonsense.

They can't even give Reggie a proper send-off against a gimped team that doesn't need this game at all. Not only is it Reggie's last game, but an important game for playoffs seeding, and the entire team couldn't give a ****. They've played the entire first half pretty much sitting on thier asses. Except for a couple DD's grabbed, the Bulls are getting all the loose balls and are making all the effort plays - and recordwise - to them - it shouldn't even matter. How did this inspiring, gutty team suddenly become such an apathetic group of losers? Right now this entire team is an absolute disgrace to the fans and the organization and Reggie especially. I'm so ****ing pissed at the absolute lack of effort and total absence of heart in this team. It couldn't possibly be any more pathetic, could it?

And a PS: This game makes it quite obvious how superiour a coach Skiles is compared to Carlisle, at least from a motivational aspect. Chicago doesn't need to win this game in any way shape or form, while the Pacers absolutely need it just to have a glimmer of not being swept, and the Bulls are the only team out there that looks like they actually want to play.

Blech.

They were playing pretty ****-poor in the first half, you have to admit, so I figured I needed to bring out the big guns.

At least the crow on my plate always has the sweet tang of victory.
