Who would you prefer to play in the first round of the playoffs?

Personally, having seen what this team can do against the new and improved Pacers I'm selecting Washington. They are very young and inexpirenced. I really feel that Arenas is a very talented player, but has streaks of Iverson like ball hogging that can disrupt his team. Aside from the obvious Pistons and Heat, the only team I wouldn't feel comfortable against would be the Bulls.

To win it all, you have to beat them all.

The Pacers are still the 3rd best team in the EC. I wouldn't pick 'em vs Detroit or Miami but I wouldn't consider it an automatic loss either.

Like Able said. You're playing very well right now. Take whoever you get and put it to 'em.

I picked Detroit because I want to play them, period. I want to beat them very badly and I believe, seriously, that we would win.

But as Able said, to win the Championship, you've got to beat them all. Or be able to beat them all.

I think Celts or the Bulls are the only two realistic possibilities. I would rather play the Celts with homecourt advantage than play the Bulls without homecourt. if the Pacers have homecourt against both, then I don't know who I want

Why don't you think Washington is possibility?

Why don't you think Washington is possibility?

In order for the Pacers to play the Wizards the Bulls would have to fall to 6th and I just don't see that happening.

Because Washington would have to get back to the 4th or 5th spot. And while their schedule is relatively easy I don't see them catching the Bulls. They could pass the pacers, but then the Pacers would be 6th.

Cavs will be a lottery team this year

Cavs will be a lottery team this year

I'm not sure why, but I have a hunch that they're still going to squeak themselves into that 8th spot. Lebron is better than that. True, his coach is brutal, and he has a bunch of idiotic malcontents for teammates; but we're talking about one of the best here.

I think he can get those guys a spot in the playoffs, to inevitably be swept in the first round by Miami.

Cleveland. We've dominated them thoroughly this year. It would be like last year against the Celtics all over again.

I really don't want to play chicago, miami or detroit in the first round.... Second round is fine, but an easier series to start is welcome...
