I don't like that we're wearing the retros for Reggie's final visit. I'd rather he wear a uniform he actually wore during his best NY moments. If you're gonna go retro for tonight, it should be the FloJos.

My 2nd half prediction: Herb rips the Knicks a new one in the Locker Room. They don't care and Sweetney, TT and KT continue watching DD play volleyball with himself on the offensive boards.

Rick rips the Pacers a new one and they hold us to 35 in the 2nd half.

Though I gotta admit, as disjointed and unorganized as our offense is, it's gotta be hard to design a defense for it.

Both teams sucked that half - the problem is, that's our usual game - not yours.

Well look at the bright side, at least the Knicks have Isiah Thomas running the show, and the highest payroll in the league, and Allen Houston signed through 2006/07, and...

Sorry, DK, I'm still grumpy from my fantasy league team getting knocked off in the conference finals. Misery loves company. ;)

Nice Post game interview by Reggie.

What did he say Ragnar?

Also, Walt Frazier said "The last time the Garden crowd chanted the name of an opposing player was at Dr. J's last game at the Garden"

Wow! Just Wow! They cheered Jordan at his last game at the Garden but did not chant his name.

It was also classy of the Knicks to have their PR announcer introduce Reggie as "at guard from UCLA , for his final appearance at Madison Square Garden"

Ragnar
04-05-2005, 10:45 PM
I recorded it. He talked about the love hate relationship with NY. He talked about what a great rivalry they had. Someone asked him if he would ever be back in the Garden either as a fan or a coach and he said back here? No way I dont think I will ever step foot in the garden again after tonight.

I was at the game...I was in a suite, so I didn't feel as though I was as part of the crowd as I would have liked. But, especially by the end of the game, there were more Pacer fans than Knick fans. I honestly think it was Pacer fans chanting. They booed him when he was announced which surprised me so I doubt they would chant his name at the end. The Knicks are a pitiful team and The Garden was almost empty...It was bittersweet seeing Reg play for the final time! It was nice to finally participate in a Reggie chant, though!
