Hey guys-- I had an idea for a cool thread.

one dedicated to photos, stories, etc. from your our personal interactions with pacers players or staffers or whatever.

I know several guys here have lots of cool photos with players and other assorted things.

I figured I would start one consolidated master thread for these things.

I hope you guys like the idea.

Ill get the ball rolling with my fav pic. Ill add more later today!

Here are some others.

Sorry for image quality... indoor flash makes me look even WHITER than I am, which is saying alot.

So I look like a ghost by these guys, but I tried my best to saturate the images to make them a bit easier to view.

Enjoy!

Of all people ever associated with the pacers, I think I'd most like to share a meal/beer/elevator/whatever with slick leonard.

He's got to have some of the best stories imaginable.

Lol-- Yea I've heard that before.

actually.. what happened was, when he came to take the picture, my friend I was at the game with snapped it very quickly and didn't really give either of us much time to "set up"

He later told me that he actually put on a big smile a second or so too late.

but if you look close you can see him givin the peace sign ;)

BTW--- admins... How can I make more than 1 picture in a reply show at once. right now my replies with 3 and 2 pics respectively make u click links to get to them! thanks for the help!

Me and one of my best friends (who is a Timberwolves fan and I had for FORCE to wear my reggie shirt) at my FIRST ever conseco game, last year vs the cavs, lebrons conseco debut.

The pacers won by 1 point with the cavs missing about 4 point blank tip ins at the buzzer.

I could barely walk afterwards.

but this was b4 the game... me and my future wife stephanie (note my avatar)

How did you get the chance to have your picture taken with these guys? Did you just randomly ask them?

Pretty much.

100% of these were taken either in Milwaukee or Minnesota at away games.

The security there is much more lenient ( at least it was back then)

before games you could stand RIGHT next to the player tunnel, within inches of the guys as they came out.

I would just politely ask them and they mostly always oblidged. The ones with Donnie and Slick were another story.

Because I met Donnie at a preseason game vs the wolves back when we had Oliver Miller on the team, hehe!

I was sittin in the same section as Donnie, and unfortunately the P's were getting blown out, so most of the ppl started leaving early.

So when the seat next to Donnie opened up, I did a quick Ball Check and went over and sat by him and spoke with him for the rest of the game, and got that photo, as well as the one with Slick.

I also have met Coach Carlisle, and had him sign a hat, but wasn't able to get a photo.

All very cherished memories!

I don't have any pictures with players. Before Game 1 of the Heat series last year I met Jamaal and Ron down by the Locker Room Sports Bar. I lucked into those tickets, wish I could go back. I got them to sign my Pacer Playoffs poster, and this year, I have gotten it signed by David Harrison, Anthony Johnson, and Fred Jones. I also have 8x10's signed by David Harrison, Eddie Gill and Jamaal Tinsley. Probably my coolest Pacers story is when I met Rik Smits. Rik used to live in Mooresville, and would occasionally come into the Mooresville Movies, where I worked. My manager would always treat him well and suck up to him, so we always gave him free stuff just for being the Dunkin Dutchmen. I have a picture with him in my outfit. Also saw him at Kroger one time. I also got Mark Jackson, Travis Worst and Jalen Rose's autographs.

I am 6'3

in the JB picture I was kinda leaning over a railing he was standing below on the ground, I was in the bleachers one "step" above ground.. that makes up the 5-6 inch difference confusing all you guys ;)
