Default My Pictures from Eagle Ranch

Me and Mrs. Doug with Mike.

And with Jeff - Mike's wife (he got married this summer) is taking the picture. Mike and Jeff were the only Pacers there today. Apparently they just stayed all night.

And with Coach...

And with Larry... He was scheduled for an hour of group pictures, but left once the line cleared out. But he came back out later and hung out. He seemed nice enough. Quiet, perhaps, although I did see him out playing the bean-bag toss game earlier in the part.

One of the houses on the property. I can't remember if this is the main house or one of the others. I think it was the main one. In any case, it's nice.

Same house, different angle.

And finally, me dunking a mini-ball on Larry's court... Yes, it's regulation (the basket, not the court).

(OK, if I had to guess, it was about 9' 10" instead of 10'. But I was wearing flip-flops, so I figure that cancels it out.)

Oh, we also had a caricature done while we were there.

What else? The event seemed very well planned. Good attention to detail. Everybody working it, from the Pacers players to the ticket reps to the security folks were extremely nice. The weather was beautiful.

Altogether, it was a very nice gesture from the Pacers and many thanks to all involved.

I can't think of anything I would have done different, except to have Tinsley in a dunk tank. We might have had trouble getting Larry to let everybody else have a turn, though.

I know this was said in jest, but I'd bet there's a lot of truth to that as well

Just fill it with milk and donuts.

He'd be there in a jiffy.

I wondered why you said the only two players there were Dun and Foster when Duke had pictures of the Rookies.

Then I noticed all the Pacer personel had on different clothes. Although you didn't say apparently you and Duke attended on different days.
