I just spent 'another' 2 weeks in Denver. They have really come back to earth about the Broncos. Quite a few people say that 8-8 or 9-7 would be a good season out of them.

The Jets CB Revis has been talking a lot of trash about shutting down Randy Moss.

I don't think that yapping about it in advance is wise. Granted he did a good job in the first matchup, but Brady was very rusty, Welker was not playing, and Moss had been doubtful before that game due to a sore back.

I'd be very surprised if he doesn't top 100 yards. People talk about how in the last 3 games vs. Revis (two last year with Cassel as QB) Moss has averaged about 25 yards. That made me wonder what happened 4 games ago, also vs. Revis. 180+ yards!

I feel sorry for the Jets. After losing to the Colts the way they did, the Pats are gonna tee off on them.

K.C. over Pittsburgh in overtime with Ben Roethlisberger leaving late in the game with what looked like some type of upper-body injury.

Edit: Looks like it's a head injury.

I guess it is possible to hold Moss to almost nothing, at the cost of giving up 192 yards to Wes Welker.

Rex Ryan is Baby Huey.

Reminiscent of our loss in Oakland in 2006. We are not a team built to repeat championships in consecutive seasons. But we'll be back to that level before long.

In 2006, it was turnovers. This year, it is kick return coverage. Frustrating, to say the least, to outplay a bad team and let them off the hook with turnovers and a refusal to tackle on special teams.

Although, the Bengals - Raiders game was just as weird. Talk about the Steelers really wasting multiple opportunites on Sunday.

And our QB that won't play next week - not Ben... he didn't actually have a concussion. Better to be cautious with him since he's had a few. But Batch broke his wrist. Four plays in two seasons, and another injury!?!? At least I now understand how the drive in OT stalled when were on the cusp of FG range.

And life itself, rushing over me
Life itself, the wind in black elms,
Life itself in your heart and in your eyes, I can't make it without you
